Katie Lalor

The 2016-2017 marks my 4th year teaching at Yorkville Middle School. It will be my third year teaching ELA. I grew up in Yorkville attending the middle and high school, and enjoyed playing sports and participating in clubs. I graduated from Northern Illinois University in December 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.

Staying active is really important to me. Not only do I enjoy being active in the classroom, but with the extra-curricular activities too. Outside the classroom, I coach 7th and 8th grade intramural tennis.

You will see my husband and I around town at sporting events or city festivals. We also stay active by traveling, riding our bikes, and reading.
